1. GENERAL
1.1. What is a SpotsWiFi device?
The SpotsWiFi is a mobile hotspot WiFi device, a portable router that connects any WiFi-enabled device (smartphones, tablets, PCs) to 4G internet without the need for cables or installations. By using SpotsWiFi, you can avoid expensive roaming charges and skip the hassle of looking for public WiFi every time you need unlimited internet in Portugal.
1.2. Do I need to activate the service?
No. The SpotsWiFi devices come pre-activated and configured, ready for use.
1.3. When does the SpotsWiFi service start?
The service begins on the delivery date you select when booking. The delivery date is considered day one of your plan.
1.4. What happens to my personal data?
All SpotsWiFi devices are reset to factory settings after use, ensuring that no personal data is stored or shared.
1.5. What are the charges for lost or stolen devices?
If your WiFi hotspot is lost or stolen, please refer to our Terms and Conditions for applicable fees.

2.2. Is it easy to use?
Yes! Simply press the device’s on/off button, and it will emit a WiFi signal. Find it on your device and enter the password provided. You can also use the NFC function for quick setup.
2.3. How long does the battery last?
A fully charged battery lasts around 6 hours of continuous use.

3. DELIVERY & PICKUP
3.1. How far in advance should I book my SpotsWiFi?
We recommend booking at least 2-3 days in advance to ensure your device is ready for you upon arrival.
3.2. Do you deliver to Madeira and the Azores?
Yes, we deliver to Madeira within 3 working days and to the Azores within 5 working days.
3.3. Do you deliver to Lisbon Airport?
Yes, we can deliver your WiFi hotspot directly to Lisbon Airport for your convenience.
3.4. Can I receive my SpotsWiFi at a hotel or Airbnb?
Yes, we deliver to hotels, Airbnbs, and other accommodations in Portugal. Make sure to provide the full address and inform your accommodation to expect the delivery.
4. RETURNS
4.1. What’s the easiest way to return the device?
Use the prepaid, self-addressed envelope provided. Drop it in any Portuguese post box - www.ctt.pt
4.2. Can I return the device at Lisbon Airport?
Yes, you can return the SpotsWiFi device at Lisbon Airport’s post offices before passing through customs.
5. PAYMENT, MANAGING & CANCELLATION
5.1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major international credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal.
5.2. Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Please check our cancellation policy in the Terms and Conditions.
6. COVERAGE, SPEED, AND DATA USAGE
6.1. Is the internet truly unlimited?
Yes, we provide unlimited internet for fair and responsible use.
6.2. What is the download/upload speed?
The average 4G speeds in well-covered areas are:

6.3. How reliable is the connection?
We provide 3G and 4G connections. Major cities and towns in Portugal have 4G coverage, while more remote areas may have 3G. Internet speed may vary depending on factors such as network coverage, indoor usage, or the number of users connected simultaneously.
